    I am Akula Ramu, working as bank employee from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. I appriciate to see this particular house in "SEELAM NAGAR" by the name of Seelam Subbarao, s/o Seelam Subbarayudu. They were the land lords of this area from their ancestors. Late Seelam Balachennaih who was the grand father of Seelam Subbarao, worked as a Treasurer and the head of ancient books during the period of 11th Eligibith victoria. Late Sri Balachennaiah donated more than 500 acres of land to the poor people during his period. So this is the reason people calls this area in the name of their INITIAL SEELAM as a "SEELAM NAGAR". The SEELAM family as well known to all people living in the Mydukur mandal from the past 200 years. Thanks to google earth for giving this opportunity to share my feelings about SEELAM family.

    This is the center of Rayalaseema(We can promptly say)... It is the center of Mydukur too. We usually call it "Rekkamanu". The 4 roads that are appearing here are the ways to Tirupathi(around 170 km)[via cuddapah, rajampet and Rly Kodur], Ananthapur(around 160 km)[via Proddatur, Jammalamadugu, Tadipatri], Kurnool(Around 170 km)[via Allagadda, Nandyal], Nellore(Around 160 km)[via Badvel, atmakur, BR Palem]
